Keep contact preferences clear and separate.
Contact details alone do not show whether someone wants more information or a newsletter. DRADEO displays the relevant wording, leaves the choice open and records it separately from the event contact.

DRADEO Help
Frequently asked questions
Does an event contact have to agree to a newsletter?
No. A newsletter is an optional component and is never preselected. A refusal or open decision does not prevent the contact from being captured.
Does DRADEO decide how contact details may be used?
No. DRADEO records the choice, displayed wording, language, capture method and time. The responsible organisation must define the purpose, wording and permitted use.
What happens if someone withdraws the choice later?
The new state is added without silently replacing the earlier documented decision.
